"For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them."
About Us
"Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:" Matthew 28:19 (KJV)
"Not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but as the servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart;" Ephesians 6:6 (KJV)
“Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” 2 Timothy 2:15 (KJV)
The Word of God
These three scriptures are guiding principles that describe the spiritual burden God placed on my heart several years ago. We are given the Great Commission to "GO" out into the world and "TEACH" the Gospel of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. We are to seek and do the "WILL OF GOD," not to please man, but to serve God with a pure heart. In order to do this, we must "STUDY" to show ourselves "APPROVED OF GOD."
In 2008, my family and I started Grace Hill Mission in Gore Springs, MS. In February 2009, New Zion Hill Missionary Baptist Church extended an arm of fellowship to our mission. Eld. Brandon Hartfield and his family was integral part of starting and growing this mission. Elds. Steven Webb, Steve Ellis, Adam Cefalu, Steve Farmer, Brad O'Neal, and several others have taken part in the mission work here.
As part of the Grace Hill Mission, I undertook the process of building this site. It was my burden to not only reach those in my family, my church, and my community, but also around the world. What better way to do that than to use the internet? The site is not perfect and a professional could certainly do this with much more ease and expertise; however, I have been able to build, manage, and maintain it with the skills God has blessed me with. I have revamped the site several times as I have learned. It is my hope and prayer that the information provided within will give insight to those seeking to understand the "why's" of "what" we believe, guidance to those that have lost their way, and light to the path of salvation for those that are unsaved. I also hope that this mission will grow, connect, and assist those wanting to learn and study together.
From the beginning, I have made many contacts from across the United States, Canada, Africa, Philippines, and other areas around the world. One connection, Eld. Jorgejill Duyaguit, from Negros Islands, Philippines, has been a great blessing to myself and many others. Several of our missionaries have gone to the Philippines to visit with him and he has come to the U.S. to visit several times. I believe a great connection and a great work has begun and it is our prayer that many more such connections will be made.
There was much discussion, research, and prayer concerning this endeavor from the beginning and it continues even today. One of the last ministers I spoke to concerning this was Eld. James Broom. He told me that he was not "skilled in modern technology" in order to give advice in that respect, but "if you're seeking to do God's will with a pure heart, He will provide a way."
It is our hope and prayer to accomplish several goals:
